These terms govern the use of squarespacewebsbuilder.com and the services Square Space Webs Builder provides. Project-specific terms in a signed proposal take precedence over anything here.
By using this website or engaging Square Space Webs Builder you accept these terms. Where you have signed a proposal or statement of work, that document governs the specifics of your project (scope, price, timeline and deliverables) and these terms cover everything it does not address.
Prices published on this website apply to the scope described alongside them. A written proposal fixes the price for the scope it defines and stays valid for 30 days.
Work outside the agreed scope is quoted separately and only starts once you approve it in writing. We will never add unapproved work to an invoice.
Projects run to schedule when both sides move. We ask that you:
Timelines in a proposal assume content and feedback arrive as scheduled. Delays in either shift the delivery date accordingly, and we will tell you as soon as we see it happening.
If a project stalls on your side for more than 60 days we may invoice for work completed to date and re-book the remainder into the next available slot.
Each package states its revision allowance. Revisions cover refinement of the agreed direction. A change of direction after approval (a new brand, a different structure, a fresh concept) is new work, and we will quote it before starting.
Your Squarespace account, domain and hosting are registered in your name with you as the owner. We act as an administrator so we can do the work, and that access can be revoked by you at any time.
We warrant that the work will be performed with reasonable skill and care, and we fix defects reported within 30 days of launch at no charge.
We cannot warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation of third-party platforms, nor guarantee specific search rankings, traffic volumes or revenue, those depend on factors outside our control.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability under any engagement is limited to the fees you have paid us for that engagement. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or lost data.
You may cancel a project at any time in writing. You are invoiced for work completed up to that point and you keep everything you have paid for, including source files.
We may end an engagement if payment is materially overdue, if the work required falls outside what was agreed and cannot be renegotiated, or in cases of abusive conduct. In that event you receive all work completed to the last paid milestone.
